Meet the Team

Jesse Greenfield, MPH, CHES
(they/them)

Founder, Director of Programming & Facilitator-in-Cheif

Jesse is a health communicator, story teller, and improviser living in San Diego, California. Their approach to health education is deeply informed by their decade of improv experience, and centers peoples’ lived experiences to co-create personalized, inclusive, and accessible education.

 

Jesse facilitates applied improvisation workshops to support individuals and teams in improving their spoken and unspoken communication with others, fostering environments of psychological safety, and being more flexible and resilient. Some groups they have worked with in this capacity include medical professionals, school staff, social workers, queer youth as young as 8, and more. Jesse can support you in creating accessible and inclusive environments through active listening, approaching work and life from a “yes, and...” mindset, and demonstrating how responding compassionately and authentically is vital to effective collaboration.
 

Jenie Michael (they/them)

Founder, Director of Operations & Development

Jenie is an experienced program manager dedicated to driving initiatives that improve the quality of life for individuals and communities. They have a proven track record of designing and implementing data-driven programs that deliver results, and are passionate about using that skill to serve their communities.


With degrees in Communication Studies and Social Entrepreneurship as well as socially-conscious values, Jenie takes a unique approach to business management. Their focus is on maintaining a purpose-driven model that deemphasizes profit margins and elevates social impact to the position of primary business responsibility.

By nurturing these essential skills, we aim to empower individuals, teams, and communities to better connect with themselves, one another, and beyond.
