About the event

UPDATE: NEW LOCATION FOR OUR WORKSHOP TODAY

We are enraged by the decision of SD Pride, without the consensus of SD SheFest partners, to cancel the Pinkwashing 101 workshop held by Jewish Voices for Peace and People for Palestine San Diego. It is clearer now than ever that SD Pride is out of touch with the queer community of San Diego, bending to the will of their Zionist donors instead of their stakeholders. We call on the San Diego Pride Board and Executive Leadership to step down from their positions and hand the reigns to leadership who will uphold the community above all else.

Join us at 6th Ave and Upas St for alternative programming in support of Jewish Voices for Peace and People for Palestine beginning at 1PM. We will be holding our workshop, "Playing with your Queerness" at 3pm at the new location.

No Pride in Genocide.

Play with Your Queerness: Games to Connect with Yourself & Our Community

Come play with us at this engaging workshop designed for us as a community to come together to connect, play, and dive deeper into the depths of our queerness. Led by Jesse Greenfield (they/them), co-founder Kaleidoscope Training Center and queer-about-town, this session will feature silly games to help us embrace our creativity and explore our unique and shared stories in a supportive, affirming space. All you need to bring is your lived experience and your sweet, goofy self!
